Compeer of San Mateo County has been making new friends for people in mental health recovery since 2004. We are a not-for-profit 501©(3) organization affiliated with Compeer International that has programs in 33 states, Canada and Australia. We create friendships and change lives by matching caring, trained volunteers with people in mental health recovery in one-on-one, co-equal friendships.
